SnapLog(이하 "앱")는 비공개·로컬 우선 사진 로거입니다. 계정과 로그인이 없으며, 기록과 사진은 기본적으로 이용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루는지, 다루지 않는지를 설명합니다.
1. 우리가 수집하지 않는 것
앱은 계정이 없고 자체 서버가 없습니다. 다음 정보를 수집·전송·보관하지 않습니다:
- 이름, 이메일, 전화번호 등 연락처 정보
- 사진, 카테고리, 기분, 제목, 장소·날씨 등 기록 — 전부 이용자 기기 안에만 저장됩니다
- 연락처, 그 밖의 기기 내 다른 데이터
백업·내보내기 파일은 이용자가 직접 만드는 로컬 파일이며 앱이 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.
2. 카메라와 사진 보관함
카메라와 사진 보관함 접근은 사진을 찍거나, 고르거나, 저장할 때만 사용됩니다. 이미지가 사진 보관함에 저장되거나 다른 앱으로 전송되는 것은 이용자가 저장·공유·내보내기를 직접 선택한 경우에 한합니다.
3. 위치와 날씨
위치 접근(사용 중)을 허용하면 새 기록에 현재 장소명과 날씨를 자동으로 담을 수 있습니다. 좌표는 그 순간의 날씨를 가져오기 위해 Open-Meteo에만 전송되며, 기록에는 좌표가 아니라 장소명과 날씨 요약만 남습니다. 이 기능은 설정에서 끌 수 있고, 위치 접근을 거부해도 앱을 그대로 사용할 수 있습니다.
4. 백업과 내보내기
백업 파일에는 기록과 비공개 사진이, 포터블 내보내기에는 기록과 관련 메타데이터가 포함될 수 있습니다. 이 파일은 이용자가 직접 만들고 저장 위치를 고를 때만 생성됩니다. Files·iCloud Drive·Google Drive·이메일 등으로 저장한 내용은 해당 서비스의 개인정보 방침을 따릅니다. 백업 파일을 열 수 있는 사람은 그 내용을 볼 수 있으니 본인만 접근할 수 있는 곳에 보관해 주세요.
5. 알림과 기기 보안
앱이 보내는 알림은 기기에서 로컬로 예약됩니다. 앱 잠금(Face ID/암호)을 켜면 생체 인증은 운영체제가 처리하며, 앱은 생체 정보를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다.
6. 진단 정보
진단 프로젝트 키가 설정되지 않은 빌드에서는 진단 수집이 비활성화됩니다. 향후 검토된 진단이 활성화되더라도 수집 범위는 앱 버전·운영체제/기기 종류·오류 발생 위치·소수의 제품 이벤트로 한정됩니다. 사진 내용과 경로, 제목, 정확한 위치, 광고 식별자, 사용자 프로필 등 개인 콘텐츠는 포함되지 않습니다.
7. 결제
현재 버전에는 활성화된 인앱결제가 없습니다. 향후 프리미엄 상품이 제공되면 결제는 Apple App Store / Google Play의 인앱결제로 처리되며, 결제 정보(카드번호 등)는 Apple/Google이 처리하고 앱은 접근할 수 없습니다. 앱은 구매 여부만 기기 내에 저장합니다.
8. 보유와 삭제
기록은 이용자가 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우거나 앱을 제거할 때까지 기기에 남습니다. 앱 안에서 개별 기록을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 내보내거나 백업한 사본은 그 저장 위치에서 별도로 삭제해야 합니다.
9. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
10. 이용자의 권리 및 보호책임자
- 위치·사진 등 권한은 기기 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다.
- 기기 내 데이터는 앱의 백업/내보내기로 직접 내보내거나, 앱 삭제로 전부 제거할 수 있습니다.

11. 지역별 이용자 권리
거주 지역에 따라 다음 권리가 추가로 적용될 수 있습니다.
- 대한민국: 개인정보의 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 위치·날씨 기능을 사용하면 좌표가 Open-Meteo(국외)로 전송되는 국외 이전이 발생하며, 목적은 해당 순간의 날씨 조회에 한하고 기록에는 좌표가 남지 않습니다.
- EU·영국(GDPR): 접근·정정·삭제·처리 제한·데이터 이동·반대 권리가 있으며, 감독기관에 항의를 제기할 수 있습니다. 앱은 개인정보를 서버에 수집하지 않으며, 선택적 진단이 활성화된 경우의 처리 법적 근거는 동의 또는 정당한 이익입니다.
- 미국 캘리포니아(CCPA/CPRA): 앱은 개인정보를 판매하거나 공유(교차맥락 맞춤광고 목적 포함)하지 않습니다. 열람·삭제 요청은 아래 문의처로 접수할 수 있습니다.
12. 방침 변경
방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 갱신하고 시행일을 표기합니다.
English
SnapLog ("the app") is a private, local-first photo log. There is no account and no login, and your entries and photos are stored on your device by default. This policy explains what the app does — and does not — do with your information.
1. What we do NOT collect
The app has no accounts and no server of our own. We do not collect, transmit, or store:
- Contact information (name, email, phone number)
- Your photos, categories, moods, titles, place, or weather — all of it stays on your device
- Contacts or any other on-device data
Backup and export files are local files you create yourself; the app never uploads them.
2. Camera and photo library
Camera and photo-library access are used only when you take, choose, or save a photo. An image is added to your photo library, or sent to another app, only after you choose the save, share, or export action.
3. Location and weather
If you grant when-in-use location access, a new entry can automatically include the current place name and weather. Coordinates are sent only to Open-Meteo to fetch that moment's weather; the entry keeps the place label and weather summary, never the coordinates. You can turn this off in Settings, and you can deny location access and keep using the app.
4. Backups and exports
Backup files can contain your entries and private photos; portable exports can contain your entries and related metadata. These files are created only when you choose to make them and where to save them. Anything saved to Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email, or another service is governed by that service's privacy practices. Anyone who can open a backup file may be able to view its contents, so keep it somewhere only you can access.
5. Notifications and device security
Any notifications the app sends are scheduled locally on the device. If you enable app lock (Face ID / passcode), biometric authentication is performed by the operating system; the app does not receive or store biometric data.
6. Diagnostics
Diagnostics collection is disabled on builds with no diagnostics project key configured. If reviewed diagnostics are enabled in a future build, they are limited to app version, operating-system and device type, crash locations, and a small set of product events. Photo contents and paths, titles, precise location, advertising identifiers, and user profiles are excluded.
7. Payments
This version has no active in-app purchase. If Premium products become available, purchases are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play in-app purchase, and payment details never reach the app. The app only stores your entitlement status on the device.
8. Data retention and deletion
Entries remain on the device until you delete them, erase the app's data, or uninstall the app. You can delete individual entries in the app. Copies you exported or backed up must be deleted from their destination separately.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Your rights and data controller
- You can change location, photo, and other permissions at any time in device settings.
- You can export your on-device data via the app's backup/export features, or erase everything by deleting the app.

11. Regional rights
Depending on where you live, the following may additionally apply.
- Republic of Korea: You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing. When you use place & weather, coordinates are transferred to Open-Meteo (outside Korea) solely to fetch that moment's weather, and the entry never keeps the coordinates.
- EU / UK (GDPR): You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The app collects no personal data on any server; where optional diagnostics are enabled, the legal basis is consent or legitimate interest.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share (including for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information. You may submit access or deletion requests via the contact below.

Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
